What are RSS feeds?

How do I use an RSS news feed?

Firstly you will need some client software, a news reader. Also known as a feed aggregator, there are many different types available. Some are stand alone applications and others work as extensions for many of the popular Internet browser and email packages.

When you have selected a news reader you only need subscribe to an RSS feed to start receiving notifications. Navigate to our News page and you will see an orange RSS feed icon on the left hand side.

Click on this RSS link and you will be taken to the Avon LMC News subscription page. Here you will be presented with different ways to subscribe to the feed. You can either select an application from the dropdown list, or you can copy and paste the URL into your news reader.
